The Taifa Stars of Tanzania will hold it neighbours Kenya on a friendly match coming up on Sunday, 29 May 2016 in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
The both teams have qualified for the upcoming African Cup of Nations 2017 coming up in January 2017 and hosted in Gabon.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) president, Jamal Malinzi has confirmed the match, which will serve a good test for the Taifa Stars ahead of their clash with the pharaohs of Egypt.
Six points shy of Group G leaders Egypt, the Taifa Stars need nothing short of victory to enhance their chances of qualifying for next year’s showpiece event for the first time since 1980.
“We only have few days ahead of the Egypt clash; it was difficult to play any friendly but our neighbours Kenya agreed to play us and the game will take place in Nairobi,” said Malinzi.
